A castle complex in Cesky Krumlov is the second biggest in our country. We will walk through its all 5 courtyards and I will tell you everything about it. STORY TIME! 

We are NOT visiting any building of the castle in its interior on this tour unless you do it on your own during your free time. Previous booking with the castle is however necessary. You can visit the interior only with the official castle guide.

 Cesky Krumlov Castle

Cesky Krumlov is divided in half by Vltava river. On one side you find the old town, on the other side the castle. You will have a free time to explore the Old Town on your own. Popular with shoppers and lovers of nice pictures.

Explore the Old Town

Our trips to Český Krumlov typically go like this: We'll pick you up from your location in central Prague. It's a comfy 2-hour drive in a van that seats up to 8 people, during which you can kick back and enjoy the views of our beautiful countryside.Once we arrive, we'll park at the main car park where our guide, Filip, will take over. We'll head up a short hill to the castle where you'll explore various courtyards, hear fascinating stories, and find perfect spots for photos. Afterwards, we descend to the river, crossing a bridge to a medieval restaurant for lunch.Post-lunch, you’ll have free time to wander through the Old Town. Feel free to start exploring before lunch if you prefer. During your free time, I’ll provide recommendations for sightseeing and shopping. We'll regroup at the car park later and head back to Prague.Get ready for a day full of discovery and fun!

The tour was great. Cesky Krumlov is beautiful. We got picked up by Filip in the morning from our hotel and headed to Cesky Krumlov. There were 6 of us in the van. So not crowed at all. Filip is friendly, has great sense of humor and he gave us the history of the castle. We had lunch there in their old town. He brought us to this medieval restaurant which was yummy. You have the option to go eat at the other places but us and some of the other tourists went with him. Then we had plenty of time to go around the old town. It was raining but despite of it all we were happy we got to see the town for a day trip. It was worth it! Thank you Filip and it was nice to meet you!

Filip was absolutely excellent. I cannot fault him in any way.
His knowledge of Cesky Krumlov, Prague and The Czech Republic is second to none. He arrived at our hotel at the time agreed and was very accommodating throughout the tour. The drive from Prague to Cesky Krumlov was very pleasant and Filip shared all the place names we drove through with lots of interesting facts.
Filip is a really nice, friendly guy. He made the tour fun and fascinating with his knowledge of the area and its history. He is clearly very passionate about his country and Cesky Krumlov.

Great way to enjoy a castle just 2 hours away from Prague. Worth the full day spent on it. Our guide , Ondrey Maly , was very helpful and informative. He was born and grew up in Prague so we got an insider's view on the history of the Czeck Republic. Learned a lot of new things from him. He also accomodated us even if we placed our order just the night before the trip. Very friendly and picked us up on the hotel on time. Would try to get him again when we come back to Prague.

Touring the UNESCO heritage old city Cseky Krumlov gave us a first-hand experience how the ancient city dwellers in this medieval town went about engaging in their daily activities. Well preserved, well taken care structures and buildings were marvellous to look at and their artistic surroundings were a treat to the eye. It was a like a fairy tale city. The castle was a must see as well as the old city centre. River Vltava meanders through the old town and there was plenty of fun waiting for those who like a dingy boat ride or take a relaxing cool dip in the waters. Church was beautiful so as the town square buildings. The little castle with its tower was a great lookout giving birds eye view of the complex. So much to see in this old site that we felt that one would need at least two days to complete. There were some quality souvenir shops offering many things to remind Cesky Krumlov when we got back home.
