We are travelers from the Philippines and it was our first time to visit Portugal. The place itself is lovely especially Porto. RUI picked us up in our hotel and it was great as he speaks English and was able to give us good information. He took us to places where locals should go especially the street grilled sardines and porkchop. Would be recommending Rui to friends for future travel.

We met Rui Catalao (“Huey”) on our second day in Portugal, in the Milfontes area, and we ended up hiring him to drive us around for two days- what a treat!
He was extremely accommodating, and his car was large and comfortable for our party of four.
Over the course of two days he took us to touristy sites like Cape of the Rock, Devil’s Bite (?), Obidos, Nazare and Fatima Church, but he also mixed in off-the-beaten-track places like his favourite patisserie (yum yum), a small lunch spot favoured by locals, and place with a spigot for filling water bottles that had a strangely curative effect on one member of our party;)
Huey politely kept to himself (his own table) when we ate, but was pleasant and chatty whenever we asked him questions.
He's low key, but obviously passionate about his country- and rightly so.
I felt comfortable with his driving (=very important).
Best of all, he allowed us to set our own pace.

It was my first experience with hiring a driver- we liked it so much we did it again in Porto.

Huey gets five stars from me, ten outta ten!!!
