What will you do?
Fatima
One of the most famous pilgrimage sites, with a unique ambiance. The renowned apparitions chapel, where Our Lady of Fatima appeared to Lucia, Jacinta, and Francisco, is located between the Basilica of Our Lady of Rosary and the Basilica of Holy Trinity. You'll have enough time here to enter the sanctuary and pray, regardless of your beliefs.
Nazare
The Sitio of Nazare is a well-known pilgrimage site in Portugal with stunning views of Nazare Beach. Near by is the well-known Big Waves site in Portugal. The world record for the largest wave ever happened here. But Nazare is more than just the waves; you'll learn about the city's history and why it was such an important place since the XII century, and with luck, you'll see some surfers on the ocean (easier from October to March/April). This town is usually chosen for lunch since it has great restaurants and is well-known for its seafood specialties.
Obidos
Obidos is a medieval town with a rich history that has been home to several Portuguese queens. You can stroll through the small alleys visualizing how life might have been hundreds of years ago, feel the weight of the city's 2000-year history, and, of course, taste the famed "ginginha" de Obidos.
