Its skyline is dominated by futuristic buildings and fantastic monumental structures such as the Vasco da Gama Tower and Bridge. Parque das Nações is also great to spend time with family due to its Oceanarium, Teleferico cable car, and Interactive Science Museum. You’ll also find futuristic art all around the district, making it somewhat of an open air museum!</p><h2><strong>From World Expo '98 to Today</strong></h2><h3><strong>A Brief History of Parque das Nações</strong></h3><p>The metamorphosis of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parque_das_Na%C3%A7%C3%B5es" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Parque das Nações began with Expo '98, also known as the 1998 Lisbon World Exposition</a>.
